Hi,

I would like to have information about mortality rate for small brook trout (< 150 mm) who pass by turbines in hydroelectric plant.  I know that it depend of the turbines types (Francis or Kaplan) but my question concern the height of fall (hydraulic head).  For small brook trout (< 150 mm), can it survive to 67 m height of fall?  Which height of fall begin to be critical for survival small brook trout (< 150 mm).

Thank you for your help?

I will send you by separate email (I don't think FishPass does "attachments") a number of turbine papers to review.
